Here is another Reed Krakoff bag that I am loving. Once again it is totally out of my price range but my inability to buy things doesn't stop me from browsing. I love this bag. The shape is somewhat reminiscent of the Hermes Birkin, which is bag I adore. I tend to always lean towards black when I am looking at everyday bags, versatility is key. If you can afford it this would be a great bag for fall.

a while back a woman and her daughter came into the gallery where i work, and they BOTH had birkin bags. i figured between their outfits, shoes, bags and jewelry, they were wearing more than i make in a year. argh!
It's gorgeous, but I'm sure you could find a cheaper alternative...

It's absolutely beautiful and totally reminiscent of the Birkin. Good call on that one...I wish I had $1490 of change stuck in the couch.

"my inability to buy things doesn't stop me from browsing" and it never should! It never does me anyway :)) Indeed, great for fall, but I'm afraid a bit to office for me. And as much as I hate to say it, the horizontal strap reminds me on the way Zara has been styling pant belts this past season. Also the shape is to reminiscent of Hermes, without being Hermes. All in all, I would say that you should put yourself down for not getting it, as I'm sure you'll find nicers for less.
Regarding the tendency towards black bags, I totally agree. Actually I lean towards black as a general rule haha :)
