Who is your fashion inspiration?
My inspiration comes from girls I see getting on my bus to girls getting shot by The Sartorialist to film characters. Sometimes random little thoughts pop into my head and generate a whole train of thought of their own, and a brief glance at someone can give me tons to go on! I rarely see myself in high fashion shoots, I see more in the people behind them. But maybe that's because I don't have a couture budget yet!
What is your favourite place to shop?
I'm such a city girl, and I don't have the mall-phobia a lot of bloggers do; I just never go on a Saturday! Oxford Street can be a little overwhelming, but all the offshoots to it are lovely, and there's lots of great shops in Covent Garden. I also buy lots on family holidays to random English countryside towns!
What is your current favourite fashion trend?
I've decided to conscientiously object to aviator jackets! I love them, but I know i'd never get a nice enough one with my budget. I loved Mulberry's S/S 2011 grown-up girly look, and I love the 50's throwback with nipped in waists, lovely vevelty fabrics and mad, opulent heels. I've got a coat + satchel combo that makes me look like a WW2 evacuee, but I kinda like it! I love lace and I'm determined that "jigsaw dressing" is catching on: Michael Van Der Ham started it, and it's spreading fast.

What is the current trend you dislike the most?
Those transparent maxi skirts. When your mamma said no one wanted to see your knickers, she was right.
Why did you start your blog?
My friend Ike, who's pretty much my favourite person sometimes, suggested it as a way of bagging some work experience. I kept it on just as hobby, but then I realised that I enjoyed it too to much stop, and I'd met so many lovely people by this point anyway.
How would you describe your style?
Zooey Deschanel and Emma Watson's lovechild, in Paris, winking at a camera. A little homegrown, always feminine, always fresh and undeniably fun.
What is one thing you are dying to buy this fall?
Sophie Kokosalaki's sculptural heeled ankle boots with scalloped edging. In reality, probably a good camel blouse.
What is the most expensive thing you have bought?
My new coat, which was was £70. That's not much, is it? I'm a student!
What is the least expensive thing you have bought?
And routinely wear? A £4.99 vest top from River Island, it layers under anything.
What is one thing that you regret buying?
A full skirted, bandeau stonewash denim dress. I'm a petite girl and I was trying to deny it by buying this even when I knew it would be too big - I look appalling in it!
If you could meet one person from the fashion industry/ a fashion icon who would it be?
I was so happy when I got to meet Yang Du at London Fashion Week, she was so sweet, humble and inspiring. I think Rei Kawakubo for the sublimity, but maybe Garance Dore for the chatting!
What is your favourite vacation destination?
Home, to Southern Italy, where it never rains, and one can go a lifetime without gloves...
