LookBook: Nothing To Wear

This past saturday I had a friends birthday to attend. I spent about an hour in my closet trying to decide what to wear. I think we all have this dilemma, a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear. I decided to keep it simple and comfortable and ended up wearing...

H&M Studded Tee
Flying Monkey Denim Skinny Jeans
Seychelles Suede Wedges
vintage clutch (taken from my mom)
Swarvski Bangle
Rhinestone Ring

I had intended to post photos of myself wearing the clothes but the lighting was all wrong and I wasn't happy with the result. I attempted to retake the photos yesterday but I am not very talented at taking outfit photos myself. If you have any tips for taking photos let me know, I need them!

What do you think?

My friend Marilou over at Twenty York Street is giving away a Yola Couture dress, go check it out! The Giveaway ends on the 29th.

love it! especially the purse and the shoes. lighting is such a pain when it comes to taking outfit photos, i tend to find a spot/time of day i like and stick to it!! and a tripod helps too :) xx

Good lighting helps, but honestly, quantity. The more you take, the better chance you have of liking one or two. : )

An adorable outfit-that studded tee is charming! I've certainly been there-it's why I usually chose my outfits (too) far in advance!

Nice outfit. I have that same problem, I can stare at the clothes in my closet forever and not see a single thing to wear

Lovely combination. Do you think it's a female illness called 'Ivegotnothingtowear!'? We all seem to be suffering from it.

i like it! very cute!

and it is NOT easy to get great photographs of outfits. bleh. it is HARD and i give major points to those that make it look so effortless!

p.s. i have several closets full of nothing to wear. it is maddening. some days i think i have so many clothes, and how will i ever wear all of the cute outfits. and some days i am like WHAT THE HELL AM I GOING TO WEAR. argh.

"a closet full of clothes, and nothing to wear" is how I feel just about every time I need to dress up! What girl doesn't say that?

That outfit looked comfy and chic, the clutch was a great steal ;)

Love the shirt!
I usually take a million photos and end up posting only 1-5 of it all. My new best friend is a tripod with a self timer or remote. Since I dont have a remote for my Canon I use the self timer. There's actually a post on IFB about taking outfit pictures yourself.

I'll post the link once i find it :]
