My love for animal prints continues! I saw this scarf while browsing Net-A-Porter.com and got a little bit excited. Then I saw the price and my mouth dropped open. $995 for a scarf?! I know it is cashmere, but still....I can buy a bag for that much money! I'm pretty sure I would never pay a thousand dollars for a scarf but I still love the print which is why I am showing it to you. Now I'm off too find a WAY cheaper alternative.
What do you think? You can buy it through Net-A-Porter.com for $995

Love it but could never, ever afford it. I'll just keep rocking the leopard scarf I scored from a street vendor for $10!

It's really beautiful, but I'm with you, I'd rather spend the money on a bag! (Or maybe a snazzy new laptop, b/c I'm typing on a dinosaur :)). Would love to see if you find a cheaper substitute!
SOO not worth the price!
I love the purple version too and I saw these scarves in person at the YSL boutique last week, but no way do I think they're worth it. To me it just looked like a normal cashmere scarf!
I love that scarf and would definitely wear it!
it's beautiful! but it costs way too much!
thank you for passing by and leaving your sweet comment! i'm happy you liked my blog! remember you can keep in touch with my blog via blogger, bloglovin or facebook!

I mean its a pretty scarf but a thousand bucks, I think not
I love that it's purple but I agree with you, $995 is a lot of many for a scarf, even if it's cashmere.
That is so pretty, I've got 3 animal print scarf already and would love to add this to the bunch but it's a lil to pricey for my bank account!

Lovely, but I think $995 for a scarf is way too expensive.
Wow that is gorgeous!! And my favorite color ;)
Too bad thats 90% more than what I'd pay ;)

I love the colours in this scarf!! MMM...cashmere. :)SarahD
yes!
i like :)
I think the $1000 price tag has more to do with the label than the fabric-cashmere isn't that expensive! It's lovely, but I'm not sure I could justify such a huge splurge on such a singular accessory!
yep, that price is ridiculous, I can go the the fabric store and buy a yard of leopard fabric and DIY it myself! I did that once, when skull scarves were all the rage...I'm a bit of a penny pincher ;)
but I do love leopard/prints as I can see in my last post....
enjoy yr weekend!

It's gorgeous! You'll definitely find something close to it. Probably at Urban Outfitters in about a week :)

xx

I really like this scarf. Im looking to buy a few scarves for the winter.
I love animal print and this scarf looks amazing!
xoxo
Love the scarf. Really do.
What most people don't understand is that, at the high end, fashion is sold to people so rich that price isn't an issue. The buyer of this scarf won't care what it costs.
I agree with Shybiker. The market of high end products such as this gorgeous purple leopard print scarf won't care at all. As long as it's fashionable, it's good enough for them. $995 for some is just probably loose change. ;)
