Who is your fashion inspiration?

I am inspired everyday by other bloggers. I am more inspired by them than any other celebrity or fashion icon because their style is so accessible and real. If I had to choose a more public figure I would have to say Diane Kruger. She always looks so chic, while also taking risk.

What is your favourite place to shop?

Here in San Francisco I love shopping at H&M, Jeremy's, Zara and Bloomingdales. Online recently I have been purchasing a lot of product from ASOS as well as Topshop. What I wouldn't give to have a Topshop store in town.

What is your current favorite fashion trend?

I adore the color olive and anything textured. I have found myself incorporating olive in almost every other outfit. It feels like such a fresh new neutral to wear back to print. Going into fall I feel myself gravitating towards a lot of the textured items, like lace. I can’t wait to buy some great textured third pieces as Fall product hits.

What is the current trend you dislike the most?

As lady-like dresses begin to trend I really haven’t been able to warm to the right-below-the-knee and tea length styles. I either like my dresses short or maxi length. I find tea length to be so unflattering!

Why did you start your blog?

My boyfriend actually encouraged me to start the blog. He saw how much I loved pouring over other blogs and thought that I should participate in the blogoshpere. He has been so supportive and without him my blog would not exist. As many other bloggers know, you never realize how much you have to depend on someone else when your blog contains original content.

How would you describe your style?

Moody. I embrace so many different trends and love fashion at all ends of the spectrum so I find myself becoming a different character everyday. I think moody is a good way to describe that?

What is one thing you are dying to buy this fall?

I really would like to buy a pair of knee-high lace up boots. I love the way they are styled out in the new Tommy Hilfiger ads. So fresh and so dramatic.

What is the most expensive thing you have bought?

My black Chanel bag. I bought it secondhand, but it was still expensive and definitely worth it.

What is the least expensive thing you have bought?

I think the least expensive things I have bought that makes the biggest statement in my wardrobe are all of my hosiery. They can really complete an outfit or give a look a whole different feel for sometimes less than $5.

What is one thing that you regret buying?

I actually do not regret buying many things. They always find a way into an outfit. I love wearing things immediately after I buy them. If I buy something and I don’t wear it for about a week that is a bad sign…but it always eventually gets worn.

If you could meet one person from the fashion industry/ a fashion icon who would it be?

I would love to meet Mickey Drexler. He has such a vision and is so passionate about what he does. He is in the same industry as I am and has worked for similar companies. He isn’t afraid to stand up for his point of view and take a risk. I admire people who push the envelope.

What is your favourite vacation destination?

I actually don't take many vacations, but my favorite weekend get away is the napa valley. Good weather, amazing wine and beautiful scenery; I don't think I could ask for much more. Wine country is only about an hour and a half outside of the city so it makes for the perfect retreat.
