Who is your fashion inspiration?

Not just one person. Old Hollywood, current celebrities, the runways, fashion magazines, reading lots of blogs - inspiration is everywhere.

What is one thing you always carry in your bag?

I always have my BlackBerry and sunglasses.

What is the current trend you dislike the most?

I can't think of one thing in particular. Even if I don't like something or it doesn't look good on me, it probably works for someone.

Why did you start your blog?

I've loved fashion as long as I can remember. I'm always thinking about it and wanting to talk about it but it's not something a lot of people in my life have a passion for. I'd started reading a couple of blogs and thought it would be a good outlet for me, and it has been.

How would you describe your style?

I never know how to answer that. I don't really follow any particular fashion rules and just wear what makes me happy. Fashion should be fun, don't take it too seriously.

What is one thing you are dying to buy this winter?

Boots and scarves are long-time addictions that I can never get enough of, but this winter I seem to be gravitating to hats. I think I've already bought 5 and I'm pretty sure I'm not done yet.

Are you a shoes or bags kind of girl?

Both! I have more shoes but spend more on bags. Bags are definitely an investment.

What is one thing that you regret buying?

There's not one thing in particular that I regret. I focus more on quality over quantity now and I'm glad that I do, that cuts down on regretting purchases when you've put more thought into it.

If you could meet one person from the fashion industry/ a fashion icon who would it be?

Diane von Furstenberg. I admire her and her career.

What is your favourite vacation destination?

The beach. I'm from the South - give me heat and humidity and I'm happy!

What is your current favourite fashion trend?

I love over-the-knee boots. I have trouble finding them to actually go over my knees since I have long legs which I think just adds to my obsession with them.

What is one totally random fact you want others to know about you?

I can play the piano by ear.
