Who is your fashion inspiration?

It really just depends on my mood. For instance, I'm loving the "lady-like" vibe nowadays, so Olivia Palermo and Camilla Belle have been my favorites lately. However, for overall creativity I visit Kelly Framel.

What is one thing you always carry in your bag?

CHAPSTICK! My mom said a girl should always have soft lips...and she was right!

What is your current favourite fashion trend?

Even if this goes out of style (which I doubt) I will always be an avid lover of lace, feathers and fur! Also, for this spring, I am excited for brighter colors and a more "mature" wardrobe such as pussy bow blouses, trousers, etc.

What is the current trend you dislike the most?

I love transparent garments, but I've seen sheer/lace dresses where the bra AND panties (not short shorts, just...panties) were visible. Now, I support the black bra/bandeau under sheer tops, but the bottom too? I may be too conservative, but I think it's a little too risque for myself:)

Why did you start your blog?

I discovered my love for fashion/style within the first three years after college, and decided I needed a creative outlet to "get away" from my corporate job. Blogging about my personal style was beneficial in that it allowed me to connect with so many people that shared the same passion--I wasn't alone! Sadly, because I work so much during the week/weekends...I don't get to post as frequently as I would like to, but I'm working on it!;)

How would you describe your style?

I have no idea! Sometimes I wonder if I even have style...I mean....what is it? Like playing "dress-up" my mood dictates what character I become. So I guess, my style would be "all over the place" much like myself!

What is one thing you are dying to buy this winter?

I'm still on the search for the perfect over-the-knee (flat) black leather boots! I can't believe I haven't been able to find "the one" yet, but being about 5'4", not all of them are flattering...but I will find them, someday;)

Are you a shoes or bags kind of girl?

BOTH! Although I do feel bad for anything ending up on my feet because I am the biggest klutz.

What is one thing that you regret buying?

I can't really think of one right now, but usually any "impulse buys". The ones where I'm standing in line (or about to check out online) and I add something to my basket because I talked myself into thinking I needed it. Anytime I start persuading myself to purchase anything is a bad sign--but I never learn!

If you could meet one person from the fashion industry/ a fashion icon who would it be?

Coco Chanel/Valentino back when haute couture was at its peak. I just want to be able to observe them in the creation of a garment from start to finish. The creative process and technical expertise that surrounds a couture garment amazes me.

What is your favourite vacation destination?

Anywhere warm and tropical! But for my next trip, I really want to travel around Europe.

What is one totally random fact you want others to know about you?

Nobody (besides my boyfriend) that I know is aware that I have a blog--not even my sisters! Surprising as it sounds, I am very awkward when attention is drawn to me, so I would rather avoid it. If someone I know happens to stumble upon my blog....well, I'll deal with that then;)
