J. Crew Dulcie Mini

I was browsing Jcrew.com and spotted this skirt. I don't wear skirts very often, mostly because I'm always worried about accidentally exposing myself and I hate adjusting the skirt. The waist bands never seem to stay where I want them to and I guess I am just not comfortable in them. Even though I don't wear skirts very often I still appreciate a beautiful skirt and I think this one is gorgeous. I love the print and It would be great once the weather warms up worn with booties and a plain tee and perhaps a jacket.

What do you think?

You can buy it through Jcrew.com for $250

That's definitely a gorgeous skirt - it would look so pretty with a fitted black blazer.

If it comes from J. Crew, there's a very good chance that I'll love it, and yup, I love this one, too. $250, though? That's too much!

I always appreciate a fine skirt. Like you, I don't wear them very often because I hate having to be careful when sitting down, standing up, crossing my legs, etc. I've had way more than my fair share of wardrobe malfunctions, so I tend to favor pants. However, I have a decent collection of skirts simply because you never know when you will need one, and this would be a nice addition.

love the skirt. I found your blog through your comment on the daily dietribe. You mentioned that your mom grows stevia and was wondering what she did wih it? I grew some last year and wasn't quite sure what to do with it. Any info would be great! Thanks!

If you're not big at wearing skirts, I don't think that spending $250 on one that might have limited use is a good idea. I'd warm up with some less expensive options. I've seen similarly cut skirts at Forever 21.
