Who is your fashion inspiration?
I don't have anyone in particular that I look up to for inspiration. What inspires me in how I dress is everything from magazines, street fashion which I find right outside my door or pictures I find on the web from different cities, movies I watch, music I listen to, etc. I obtain inspiration from a lot of different places and I then work it to suit my taste and my style.
What is your favourite place to shop?
My favourite retail store has to definitely be H&M. Affordable fashion inspired by the runway to suit the commercial customer. I know that if I step into a store, I am not coming out empty handed.
What is your current favourite fashion trend?
Florals, hands down. I love this print on anything and everything. It's just so feminine and makes me think of summer.
What is the current trend you dislike the most?
Full on denim. It's not that I dislike it, I just find it's the hardest trend to pull off...for me that is.
Why did you start your blog?
A lot of people would tell me how they love my style and they would compliment me on the fact that I manage to look good without spending loads of money. Therefore I wanted to start my blog to inspire girls out there and show them that you don't need to break the bank in order to be stylish...all you need is confidence and imagination.
How would you describe your style?
Never the same...lol. I jump from trend to trend. I can be girly and romantically dressed one day and rocker the next. I wear as I feel.
What is one thing you are dying to buy this spring?
Clogs. I am still on the hunt for a great affordable pair.
What is the most expensive thing you have bought?
My black Gucci wave large hobo. My husband and I were vacationing in Europe, and were at the airport in Italy waiting to catch out flight to Portugal. We walked by a Gucci store and I wanted to go inside to take a look. The prices were much cheaper there as opposed to Montreal as we were saving on the duties etc. Therefore, I purchased this bag as a 30th birthday present to myself. Two years later it still looks like the first day I bought it.
What is the least expensive thing you have bought?
So many things, however, I would have to say the best steal was a red vintage wool blazer by Ralph Lauren which I found at a thrift shop for $12. It fits like a glove!
What is one thing you regret buying?
To be honest with you, I never regret buying anything. If I purchase it there's always a reason why. I have never returned anything in my life.
What is your favourite restaurant?
I'm not saying this because I'm Italian but I love Italian food. Pizza, pasta, gelato...doesn't get any better :) My favourite restaurant at the moment is Bottega. Two locations only, unfortunately. Everything I've tasted there has been delicious. I have nothing bad to say about the place. If you are ever in Montreal you must try it. I assure you, you won't be disappointed.
What is your favourite vacation destination?
I have not been to many places in my life but I'd have to say that Italy has been my favourite. I only visited a few cities in the north and I am dying to go back to see the rest. So much history, such great people and do I even need to go into detail about the food? Makes my mouth water just thinking about it.
