The Royal Wedding

I'm sure every blog will be posting about the Royal Wedding today but I just can't resist posting some photos. Ever since I was a kid I have been slightly obsessed with all things royal so I was a little more than excited about this wedding. I got up at 4am so I wouldn't miss a thing.

Probably the most exciting part of the whole thing was the dress. We have been hearing rumours for months about who would design the dress and Kate did not disappoint. The dress was designed by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen and was reminicent of the dress Grace Kelly wore when she married Prince Ranier of Monaco in 1956. I loved it! What did you think?

Arriving at Westminster Abbey

Kate's sister Pippa was also wearing McQueen.

I was surprised at how nice the dress was; I wasn't expecting it to be pretty.

Unlike Charles and Diana (whose wedding I remember watching), these two actually seem in love. Which is nice.

I loooved the dress! Loved the cut, the lace, the train... Loved it all!

I actually watched the beginning of the wedding and then had to go to work!! It's hilarious because I feel like I missed the end of a movie or something... I want to know how it "ended"! Hahah... I recorded it though, so ill be watching it tonight!

I love the dress. I could see myself wearing something similar. But shorter. And showing more skin.

YES! I watched and wished I'd worn lace sleeves and a plunging v-neck to my wedding. I think all of us probably looked at that dress and said to ourselves, "I'm totally doing that." or "I wish I'd thought of that!"

She was a vision.
And he looked so ridiculously happy.

LOVE the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge!
