Who is your fashion inspiration?
It’s not really a Who but diverse things - people I meet or things I see on the street, on TV, in films or magazines… My fashion inspiration moments often come to me shortly before I fall asleep.
What is one thing you always carry in your bag?
Handcream.
What is your current favourite fashion trend?
Lots of different trousers shapes. Wide on wide. Big blazers. Raglan sleeves.
What is the current trend you dislike the most?
It’s not that I dislike it, but I think maxi dresses and skirts are more difficult to pull off than most people realize. Not many girls actually manage to look great wearing something on a normal day around town that would be perfect for a beach party with a bikini underneath (that’s the flowy styles) or an item that clings to your body in some unfortunate places (that would be the slinky jersey ones).
Why did you start your blog?
I wanted to practice my photography and was eager to share everyday sartorial headaches.
Who takes your photos for you/ How do your take your photos?
Generally I take the pictures. For outfit pics I use a tripod and remote control. Sometimes when we are out and about I ask a friend/the hubs to take a quick shot.
How would you describe your style?
Simple. I guess the early 90s made a big impression on me because I’m still struggling to get out of the minimalism routine.
What is one thing you are dying to buy this spring?
I already got it – I wanted something really colourful, so I got myself yellow trousers.
Are you a shoes or bags kind of girl?
Shoes! I can’t be bothered with changing my bags very often, but shoes I can’t have enough!
What is one thing that you regret buying?
Some terribly unflattering wool trousers from Lover. They made me feel so bad I had to give them away.
If you could meet one person from the fashion industry/ a fashion icon who would it be?
Daphne Guinness.
What is your favourite vacation destination?
Italy. Hanging out in a country villa with occasional trips to the beautiful cities.
What is one totally random fact you want others to know about you?
I used to teach Ashtanga yoga.
