This past weekend Canada celebrated Victoria Day. It commemorates Queen Victoria's Birthday and is always held on the weekend closest to May 24th. According to Wikipedia the holiday is also meant to celebrate the current monarchs birthday so I suppose we were supposed to be celebrating Queen Elizabeth II also. My cousin came to visit from Toronto so I thought I would share a few photos. I hope she doesn't mind making an appearance on the blog.
