I LOVE the print on this dress. I think that the colours are beautiful and it is such a fun and interesting pattern. I would love to wear this with black pumps and a little black clutch for a night out. Because the pattern is a little wild I don't think you need any jewellery but if you really want to wear some make sure you keep it very basic. I would go for some simple silver earrings and a silver bangle.

Joe Fresh Wave Nail Polish

When I spotted this polish in the Joe Fresh aisle at the grocery store I thought "damn you Joe Fresh, why do you have to make such awesome nail colours?!". I walked away because I'm supposed to be saving money for school and then I went back and bought it. I'm not sure if you can tell from the bottle but it was a really light shimmer to it that is barely noticeable but makes it a bit different from a standard baby blue.

Who is your fashion inspiration?

My fellow fashion bloggers! I love real style. Not everyone can afford YSL pumps or a Chanel bag. so I really look up to the thrift-savvy girls who can make an old grandma blouse look chic.

What is your favourite place to shop?

Right now, I've restricted myself to thrift stores and consignment stores. Mostly for financial reason but I also shop there because it's fun! You never know what you're going to walk out of the store with.

What is your current favourite fashion trend?

I'm loving the military look right now - I just hope I can find a jacket or something at a thrift store soon!

What is the current trend you dislike the most?

See-through lace tops with bras underneath, spikes, studs, exposed zippers. They may appeal to others but it's just not my style.

Why did you start your blog?

I have been following fashion blogs for a while but I didn't see anything that really stuck out to me - and nothing catered to modesty. I wanted to show people that you can be moest AND look good at the same time!!

How would you describe your style?

Classic, comfortable, practical, modest.

What is the one thing you are dying to buy this spring?

A trench coat!!!! I just can't find one within my price range and one that fits my shoulders/arms comfortably...

What is the most expensive thing you have bought?

My Tsubo boots. They were $200!!!!! That is a lot of money to me...lol I did get a $40 cashback so it helped a little.

What is your favourite vacation destination?

From the places I've already been to so far, it would have to be Hawaii!!

I was in Toronto for the day writing an English Assessment Exam so that I can register for classes. I don't think I've mentioned this on the blog but I'm going back to school! I'll be studying Fashion Management in the fall. I had time to kill so I was browsing through The Bay and look what I found at 50% off! Sadly they only had a size 8 and two size 10's. (I also witnessed a guy steal three Juicy Couture Bags, crazy!)

Ombre Nails Using Joe Fresh & OPI Nail Polish

I saw a photograph online of blue ombre nails and since I can't stay away from blue polish I knew I had to try it out. Thankfully I own A LOT of blue polish (I knew there was a good reason to keep on buying different shades of blue, haha). I used Joe Fresh Navy, Joe Fresh Persian Blue, OPI Ogre The Top Blue, a mixture of Ogre The Top Blue and Joe Fresh Wave, and finally Joe Fresh Wave on my pinky finger.

What is your current favourite fashion trend?

Hmm, I think I would say Color Blocking, its so much fun and a great way to mix pieces in your wardrobe that you wouldn't normally pair together.

What is the current trend you dislike the most?

I'm not really sure, I can't think of one I dislike at the moment so I guess that means I like them all?

Why did you start your blog?

I started following other fashion blogs and figured "why not me" so I started one up and the rest is history.

Who takes your photos for you/ How do your take your photos?

I take my photos myself, usually I sit my camera on a table on my deck or use my tripod

How would you describe your style?

A mixture of a lot of styles, I don't really have a set style. But I guess I would say simple and comfortable if I had to choose. If something isn't comfortable or is annoying to wear, I won't wear it.

What is one thing you are dying to buy this summer?

Far too many things. If I had to choose one, I would say the Miu Miu nude/pink pumps that Net-a-Porter had, but they sold out in my size.

Are you a shoes or bags kind of girl?

SHOES! I can live with a couple bags, but a girl can never have too many shoes.

What is one thing that you regret buying?

I don't really regret buying anything, but I suppose if I had to choose it would be those Crown Vintage wedges I bought for $45 at DSW, I love them but they were a bit more than I would normally spend on shoes...

If you could meet one person from the fashion industry/ a fashion icon who would it be?

Marc Jacobs, he is one of my favorite designers and it would be so cool to meet and talk to him.

What is your favourite vacation destination?

I haven't been many places so I will say my dream vacation destination, which I will actually be visiting 14 days from now...LONDON! I've been dying to go there for as long as I can remember and now I'm finally doing it.

What is one totally random fact you want others to know about you?

Well I would say I'm a Harry Potter freak, but that's not exactly random and most people who follow me already know that. SO...I did gymnastics for 13 years and I have the school record for a Front Handspring Vault at my high school, I got an 8.55 out of an 8.6. The only reason I got an 8.55 is because the judge said she couldn't give me a perfect score...DARNIT! ;)
