Something New



I recently decided that I wanted a new banner for the blog. The old one has been up for more than a year and it was time for a change. I asked Melanie from Unravelled Threads to help me out. She designed her own banner (she works as a web developer) and I loved it so I thought she would be the perfect person to help me bring my vision to life. I tend to have lots of ideas but I can't put them on paper (haha). She gave me a few different design options to choose from and then we played around with the colour. I spent a ridiculous amount of time staring at the proofs deciding which one I liked best. I emailed the choices to almost every person I know who knows about the blog (actually not that many people because I'm a closeted blogger) and a few blog friends too. At one point I was considering letting you the readers choose the banner but then I thought too many opinions might be a bad thing so I made the final decision myself. I love how it all turned out.
