Kate Middleton's Royal Tour Looks

This post is a bit late seeing as how The Royal Tour ended 10 days ago but better late than never, right? (Or maybe never would have been better.) I thought I would post some photos of my favourite looks from the tour. I thought Kate did a great job of dressing for the tour, although I wish she would dress a bit younger. I think she dresses about 10 years older than she should but she looks beautiful regardless.

Departing London. Kate is wearing a Smythe blazer, Roland Mouret dress and carrying a Mulberry bag.

At a Canada Day concert in Ottawa. Kate is wearing Issa and I think she should wear more bold and vibrant colours like this and the green DVF below. They look great on her. Note the maple leaf broach.

Arriving on Prince Edward Island wearing a Joseph dress and an unknown jacket. I LOVE the jacket!

I love this simple and chic look that was worn in Slave Lake, Alberta. It's the same Smythe blazer she wore when departing London.

Wearing Alice by Temperley and looking very cowgirl chic. You can't take a trip to the Calgary Stampede and not dress the part.

My favourite look by far was the green DVF dress she wore in LA. She even had a leopard print DVF clutch. I think that's as wild as we've seen her get!

This Alexander McQueen dress worn for a BAFTA gala is beautiful

What do you think?

I saw these photos before but enjoyed seeing them again. Kate obviously puts a lot of thought into her clothes. Your point that she dresses ten years older than she should is exactly true: I hadn't thought of that. Thanks for the insight!

her best look was cowgirl chic. i agree, she dresses so much older. but it has to be stressful to try to please everyone with her outfit choices.

oh wow, she definitely looks beautiful in every picture/outfit, but I love the Alexander McQueen dress the most. What a great color on her! I do agree she could dress a bit younger too.

I'm a huge fan of her's & think she has to dress a certain way due to her responsibilities as a British Royal.
I too posted on her outfits - love them xoxo

I love her classic, well tailored style, but I think losing the pantyhose would be wise. I think the clothes themselves are perfect, but those darn pantyhose would age anyone!

This young woman does not do anything wrong in my eyes. She is always on point. I wish to see her taking a bit more risk but I am not sure that the Queen will like it.

she looks great! i even like her cowgirl look!

i think the way she dresses is a little bit conservative, but i think she has to dress that way since she is ROYalty and all. lol

p.s. i wish she'd gain 10 or 20 lbs, but that is just me.

Love her style but I agree with you: sometimes she looks older.
Anyway is a fantastic woman.

Oh my goodness I love the look with the navy blazer and white ruffle shirt! I agree though, she dresses impeccably, but she could stand to look a bit more youthful.

I die for the green DVF!!

I love her--she reeks of class and let me tell you what: her style might be a bit conservative, but these celebrity airheads running around with their butts and guts hanging out all over the place in Southern California could do with a BIG dose of her. I was so glad she didn't sell out and show up in a bunch of Alexander Wang crotch droopers.

I love Kate Middleton's style. It's so classic and put together. She looks gorgeous in all these loooks, but I love the last dress.

Wow, that last dress is breath-taking. I agree with you about her dressing too old, but I guess she's got to err on the conservative side, being a princess and all!

I agree with you that I love Kate in bold colors. That green DVF is my favorite, and I'd love to see her wearing more DVF. It just feels like it's her.
