Essie's Allure and Bourjois Rose Lounge AKA Kate Middleton's Wedding Day Manicure

After the royal wedding in April details slowly started to trickle out about what kind of makeup, perfume and nail polish Kate was wearing on the big day. Naturally I ran out and bought the two colours she was wearing. (Don't act surprised) I first did one layer of Essie's Allure which is a very sheer white. With one coat it really only adds shine. Then I added 2 coats of Bourjois's Rose Lounge. (Lucky for me they sell it in Canada!) If you are a regular reader you know that I usually wear bright, fun and vibrant colours but I think this is a nice alternative to a french manicure.

  23. Very pretty. I always pick colors like that for my own nails because it's harder to tell when I've chipped one, which I inevitably do within an hour of painting them...lol :)
