I decided to have some fun with my nails last week and painted my ring finger with a glitter polish from Urban Outfitters. I love the way it turned out and I plan on doing things like this more often.
I made it to NYC early this morning and after a full day out and about it I came home to my sisters apartment to the news that Hurricane Irene might ruin some of our fun. Apparently the transit system will be shutdown starting saturday afternoon. Thankfully her apartment isn't in an evacuation zone but we will be heading to Target tomorrow morning to stock up on some essentials. The last time I visited she was sick with the H1N1 virus and now a hurricane will keep us stuck at home. I have really awesome timing.

It does sound like your NYC timing is a bit off!! But it's better than not going anywhere (me!). Anyway, I love the glitter nail. I wanted to try the "one different nail" look, but I haven't been brave enough yet.
