Here I am wearing the second pair of jeans I got last week. I have to say I have never had a pair of jeans that cost more than $30 or $40 and while Blank Denim isn't super expensive at nearly $100 it is more than I would normally spend on a pair of pants but I think I see the appeal of expensive jeans. The fit is pretty amazing! I paired the pants with a cream Ella Moss blouse I picked up at Anthropologie during a trip to Seattle in 2008 and this was the first time I EVER wore it (oops).
And for your entertainment I want to share a recent conversation I had with a fellow intern at work.
Intern: Do you ever confuse how to spell ladder and bottle?
Me: Um, no. What do you mean?
Intern: Sometimes I spell them latter and boddle.
Me: Um, no, definitely not.
Me: Is English not your fist language?
Intern: No English is my first language.
Me: Is one of your parents ESL?
Intern: No.
Me: Oh.
Intern: I did have a Jamaican nanny when I was a kid.
Me:......
Love love love the pants.
ReplyDeleteAnd the story is funny. (Actually, latter is a real word, but it means something different than ladder.) English is hard because its spelling often differs from its phonetics.
I looove those jeans!! Ahh purple :D And shame on you for only wearing that top for the first time now, it's awesome! :D
ReplyDeleteHahaa....weird conversation too!
