While I was away last weekend Vanessa suggested we make Zebra Cake. I had no idea what it was but with only three ingredients (Christie Chocolate wafer cookies, whipping cream and sugar) and the main one being whipped cream I was pretty sure I was going to like it. It also happens to be ridiculously easy to make (which means it's perfect for a weekend away).
Begin by whipping up the entire carton of cream and adding in sugar at the end
Layer the cream between the wafers and then cover all the cookies so that you can't see any black peeking through. Stick it in the fridge for a few hours and then cut it diagonally when you are going to serve it.
And there you have Zebra Cake. Literally the easiest dessert ever.
