Ray-Ban Cats from SmartBuyGlasses.ca

I was recently contacted by the folks at SmartBuyGlasses.ca to review a pair of Ray Ban Sunglasses and I jumped at the chance. I was actually on the look out for a new pair of sunglasses anyway and I fell in love with the pair that they sent me. The Ray-Ban Cats  are a modern take on a classic cat eye, which is a shape I never thought I would be able to wear but they actually work really well on my face, or so I think. 

They came packaged in a Ray-Ban box with glasses cleaner and a little screwdriver to adjust the screws if needed which I think is great because now I can adjust my glasses on my own.

Abuelita

My grandmother passed away two weeks ago. She had just celebrated her 87th Birthday. 

She was a regular reader of my blog sometimes giving me post ideas. One of the things that i think we will all remember her for is her love of computers. I think she was the first in the family to have internet and she was probably the only iPod, iPad, iMac, Facebook, and Twitter using grandmother out there. Apparently her iPad had 286 apps on it which probably 250 more than I have on my iPhone. 

I also may have inherited my love of fashion and design from her. She studied art in Colombia and interior design while she was living in New York City. She was an artist throughout her life, sculpting, designing jewellery and painting. 

My mom posted this photo on Facebook and I think it is one of my favourites. This exactly how I'll remember her.
